Central Office of 'Fecsa' and 'Les Tres Xemeneies' public park
An office building and public park in an urban setting overlooked by the three chimneys that constitute one of the city's most memorable icons. The presence of an atmosphere derived from the metaphysical painting of De Chirico is latent in all of the design decisions. A regular structure of exposed concrete, set forward from the plane of the glass skin, forms a first abstract envelope for the building that, in its abutting on the various urban fabrics around it, is clad in each case with the appropriate morphological elements needed to achieve a good urban continuity. The two towers have a central core and are connected with the low-rise building on the third floor and at basement level in such a way as to leave the ground floor free as a public space.
