A private house and studio for a graphic designer on in a small steeply sloping plot in a peripheral area of the hills behind Barcelona with really spectacular views over the city. Vehicle access is by way of highest part of the plot, where the studio is. Below this is the house, with its living area extending out onto a terrace and ending in a small swimming pool. The bedrooms are in the lowest part, in contact with the ground. A series of factors imposed a minimal strategy that favoured working with the morphological neutrality of scaffolding, with the formal autonomy of cars and other technical objects, with a single volume and with no manipulation of the topography.
